This workshop will provide an overview of Integrated Behavioral Health models including practical assessment and intervention techniques for clinical documentation. Attendees will learn evidence-based approaches for collaborative care across a variety of behavioral healthcare settings. Specific tools and resources will be applied to case scenarios with challenging cultural and rural health components. Attendees from a variety of healthcare disciplines will gain an understanding and hands on experience of effective documentation for assessing and treating mental health.

 

Training will cover clinical content and qualify for clinical clock hours pertaining to differential diagnosis and biopsychosocial assessment, assessment-based clinical treatment planning with measurable goals and culturally specific clinical assessment and intervention. A post-test will also be made available for those seeking CEUs for clinical clock hours. 

 



Presenters:

 

 

 

Rebel Gustafson, MSW, LICSW

 

Rebel received her Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota Duluth.  She has been a practicing psychotherapist since 1995. Rebel has worked with individuals and families in many different settings including: foster care and special needs adoption, residential treatment and out-patient therapy settings. Rebel is currently is a psychotherapist for Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center Grief Support Services.  She has been an adjunct professor for St. Scholastica’ s Master of Social Work program since 2014.  She also provides clinical supervision for those pursuing their LICSW licensure as well as working for a new group practice in Duluth called Insight Counseling.   Rebel’s clinical training, focus and interests include, but are not limited to: Grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression.  

 

 

Katie Onofreychuk, MSW, LICSW

 

Katie Ononfreychuk and has over 15 years of mental health experience in the health care setting.  She is currently employed with the Behavioral Health Department at Essentia Health as part of the integrated behavioral health team, which works directly with primary care providers to address patients’ mental health needs.  Onofreychuk has experience in a variety of settings such as psychiatry inpatient, medical inpatient, group and individual psychotherapy.  Her passion is on early intervention and prevention.  She has been an adjunct professor for St. Scholastica’ s Master of Social Work program since 2014, teaching integrated social work practice.  She also provides clinical supervision for those pursuing their LICSW licensure.  Onofreychuk earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
