INSTRUCTOR:

Corey Beauford, LICSW, LCSW-C is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Beauford is the Founder and President of Inspired Consulting Group, LLC, an agency that offers workshops that focus on a host of human-service related topics. Additionally, Mr. Beauford serves as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland-Baltimore School of Social Work and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Social Work at Coppin State University in Baltimore, MD.

Mr. Beauford teaches social work exam prep classes at the University of Maryland-Baltimore, the University of South Carolina, Jackson State University, Morgan State University, Winthrop University, and for several NASW Chapters. 

 

Workshop Outcomes & Objectives:

 

The class will cover information that test-takers can expect to encounter on the ASWB licensing exam. A thorough review of the test content as well as an analysis of test taking strategies and study tips will be provided. Topics that we will cover include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Social Work Assessment & Clinical Diagnosis
  • Social Work Intervention Strategies
  • Human Growth, Behavior, and Developmental Theories
  • Counseling Theories
  • Social Work Values and Ethics
  • Addiction, Domestic Violence, and Family Dynamics
  • Child Welfare and Gerontology
  • Research and Supervision
  • 3 hours of ethics

We will also review 70 sample questions in small groups during the second day of the class.

NASW Member LBSW/LMSW/LISW Candidate – 2 Days March 25th & 26th $205
Non-Member LBSW/LMSW/LISW Candidate – 2 Days March 25th & 26th $285

 

13 CEU hours available for those who currently hold an LBSW or LMSW (6.5 for each day)


Please Note: Full payment is required to complete the registration process. Fees include manual and refreshments. Lunch is on your own.
