Equitable Solutions in Youth Development:

Integrating innovative youth work models

from around Minnesota

May 18, 2018 Willmar, MN 5 CEUs

Description:

This symposium will highlight 3 innovative youth development programs from North Minneapolis to the western border of Minnesota. These models share a common theoretical framework and strategies in education, social work, mental health, and youth development.

The afternoon panel session will focus on social justice youth work and utilizing creative, experiential strategies. These approaches foster social and emotional learning as well as develop capacities into competencies. Learn about these and other recent findings that contribute to exciting implications in the neuroscience impacting your work with young people.
