Teenagers and Puberty

Working with teens in any social work setting can come with countless issues.  It is important to remember all of the different changes teens go through during puberty.  This workshop review the basics of biological, psychological, and sociological development that teenagers experience during puberty.  Common issues and best practices for treatment and interventions will be covered.

 

Participants will be able to:

  1. Identify different bio-psycho-social development during puberty
  2. Demonstrate basic understanding of common development issues
  3. Discuss current best practices for treatment
  4. Identify specific ways to improve social work practice

 

Registration 8:00 am, workshop 8:30 am - 4:00 pm 

Registration fees-NASW Members $125.00, Other Professional $165.00
