Elder Justice and the State of the Field:

Opportunities for Prevention and Response

 Presenter: Marit Anne Peterson, JD

Friday, April 24, 2020

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

(3 CEUs - may be counted as Clinical or Generalist CEUs)

This session will explore elder justice themes: abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation from the perspective of prevention and early intervention. We’ll discuss screening tools; risk factors including vulnerability and housing insecurity; responses to safety barriers; and protective tools built into our substitute and supported decision-making infrastructure. Come learn about developments in the elder justice field, and share your perspective on effective early intervention and prevention.
