We are currently seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic individual to lead our CCBHC program as the
CCBHC Director.


The CCBHC Director will:
 Lead the management and implementation of the project goals and objectives
 Participate in collaborative meet ings and activities to evaluate and improve program
services
 Oversee the management of clients currently receiving services as well as the identification and
recruitment of potential clients
 Assist with the hiring, training, and management of all program staff
 Coordinate and facilitate program trainings, planning and review meetings, and marketing and
outreach activities
 Oversee the required data collection and tracking of project activities
 Ensure program services and activities are compliant with all state and federal regulations,
agency policies and procedure, and associated accreditations and certifications


Requirements:
 A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, or Business is required, a Master’s degree is
preferred
 A least two years of experience working in the behavioral health field is required
 Experience managing others is required
 Must be highly organized and computer literate
 Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
 Some travel is required for this positions so a valid driver’s license is required

LECTURER

9-MONTH ACADEMIC APPOINTMENT

SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK – DES MOINES CENTER

THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA

                                                                             

 

The University of Iowa School of Social Work invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure, Instructional Faculty track Lecturer position with clinical expertise in micro-level social work practice for the academic year 2019-20, beginning August 21, 2019 on the Des Moines Center Campus. The initial appointment is for one year (2019-20), renewable for up to two years (2020-21 and 2021-22), and renewable thereafter in three-year increments, pending collegiate approval and demonstrated excellence in teaching. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This track does not include the possibility of tenure, but otherwise parallels the tenure track with various ranks (Lecturer, Associate Professor of Instruction, Professor of Instruction). Summer session teaching may be available for extra compensation. The School of Social Work offers programs at the B.A., M.S.W., and Ph.D. levels with faculty scholarship foci in the areas of aging, child welfare, family violence, mental health, and culturally competent social work practice. In addition to programs on our main Iowa City campus, we offer a BASW program in Des Moines, and MSW programs in Des Moines, Quad Cities and Sioux City.

 

Required qualifications:

·       Masters of Social Work (MSW) from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program in hand by start date

·      Demonstrated record of at least 5 years, full-time, post-MSW micro practice experience working with individuals, families, and/or groups

·     Demonstrated evidence of potential for teaching micro practice courses

·     Demonstrated evidence of potential to contribute to departmental and collegiate service and/or professional productivity.  Professional productivity activities might include, but are not limited to, conference presentations, professional consultation, outreach activities, publications, or membership on state or regional boards or professional organizations.

 

Desired qualifications include: 

·       Current LMSW or LISW (or equivalent) social work licensure in current state of residence/employment

Community & Family Resources (CFR) is a substance abuse, gambling and mental health treatment facility located in 8 central Iowa counties including Calhoun, Pocahontas, Humboldt, Webster, Wright, Hamilton, Boone, and Story counties. Our staff have the opportunity to provide support at many different levels with youth as well as adults.

 

We are currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist for our Ames Outpatient office.  This individual would provide services such as mental health evaluations and individual sessions, with the possibility of group sessions as well.  Graduation from an accredited college or university with a PhD or Master's degree in the social or behavioral sciences and current Iowa Licensure as a LMSW or as a LISW.

 

We are currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist for our Fort Dodge Outpatient office.  This individual would provide services such as mental health evaluations and individual sessions, with the possibility of group sessions as well.  This individual would also help provide coverage to our CRISIS Unit.  Graduation from an accredited college or university with a PHD or Master’s degree in the social or behavioral sciences and current Iowa Licensure as a LISW, LMFT or LMHC.
