SCG partners with providers, including LISWs, psychologists, ARNPs and psychiatrists, and senior living communities to offer onsite assessment and therapy to residents who have no or limited access otherwise.


Senior Counseling Group provides credentialing, referrals, documentation consultation, billing and other practice management services so that you can focus on your patients’ wellbeing.


Scheduling is very flexible, as senior living communities are glad to have our services and willing to work with us. You can work as much or as little as you choose and will be matched to communities appropriately.

Multisystemic Therapy Supervisor

Since 1949, Vera French Community Mental Health Center has been providing quality, accessible, and comprehensive mental health care. We serve over 10,000 people each year through outpatient, residential, school-based and community-based programs and services for children and adults. We have a great reputation for quality and utilizing evidenced-based practices. 


Summary of Position:  

-        Provide overall MST Team leadership, including planning, directing, organizing and supporting four MST therapists in providing outcome-driven MST with fidelity to the MST model

-        Network with state, regional and community officials to cultivate appropriate referrals of youth and families to MST

-        Conduct weekly individual and group supervision and participate in weekly consultation with MST expert consultants

-        Provide 24-7 crisis support to MST therapists as needed and rotating on-call coverage for youth and their families

-        Manage, track, and report MST outcome data to local, state and national auditors



-        Minimum of a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling

-        Clinically licensed in the State of Iowa, three years post licensure

-        2-5 years prior experience developing and managing clinical programs essential

-        Previous experience working with at-risk youth and their families

-        Experience with family therapy or providing MST services a plus

-        Advanced technology skills: Microsoft Office Applications, spreadsheet skills (Excel), word processing (Word), PowerPoint, Electronic Medical Records, etc.

Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation (IPR)

We are currently seeking multiple compassionate and detail oriented individuals to be our full-time
Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation (IPR) Practitioners in the Northwest Iowa Region.

The Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation (IPR) Practitioners will:
 Provide in-home and community based services to individuals with a mental health diagnosis
 Serve as an advocate and encourages individuals to assume a proactive role in their rehabilitative
 Work with clients to identify, achieve, and maintain person goals
 Provide skill development and support in the areas of living, working, learning, and socializing
 Identify barriers and help individuals receive the level of services and supports they choose

 A Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field is required
 At least one year of experience in delivering services to individuals with mental health concerns
is required
 Must be willing to receive 60+ hours of training in IPR or have documented evidence of previous
receipt of training
 A certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation
Association is preferred
 Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship building skills are required


These are full-time positions that could be based out of several of our Northwest Iowa locations,
including Spencer, Spirit Lake, Sioux Center, and Sheldon. Travel in the surrounding communities is a
requirement of this position, so a valid driver’s license is required. Typical working hours are Monday –
Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, but flexibility in hours may also be necessary to meet the needs of our clients’
