Quakerdale Family Services currently has two open positions that will allow you to work outside of an office and in the community and homes of families, all while setting your own schedule.  We are in search of an Advanced Clinician and a Functional Family Therapy Coordinator. Both positions include on the job access to trauma informed training, allows for the opportunity to work with all ages and the ability to use your unique skills and talents on a daily basis. Under remote administrative supervision, as an Advanced Clinician you will provide in office assessments and therapy and counseling services to youth, couples and families. You will serve as a recruiter and promoter of the services you provide and will build your own caseload with the opportunity to move from part-time to full-time work.  This position would be located out of Marshalltown, Iowa. 

 

Under remote administrative supervision, as a Functional Family Therapist you will provide, at a minimum, weekly one-hour, home-based family therapy sessions to 12 to 15 clients. You will also serve as a recruiter and promoter of Functional Family Therapy as well as the other various services Quakerdale provides. In this position you will be vital to Quakerdale’s promotion in our communities around the state. You will be identifying where to market Quakerdale services, developing creative presentations, as well as join with others to develop and expand our community programs.  This position would base their services out of the Fort Dodge, Iowa region. 

 

Qualifications:

1. MSW or MA/MS in social work, counseling or family therapy degree. License is required for the Advanced Clinician, would consider BA in social work, counseling or family therapy degree with years of experience for the Functional Family Therapy position. 

2. Possess a calling to ministry or services for God at Quakerdale demonstrated by actively seeking to help those in need through Quakerdale services and the community.

3. Very good interpersonal/communication skills.

4. Belief in the capacity for people to grow and change.

5. Desire to work in a family focused and strength-based program.

6. Passion for travel.

5. Must pass child abuse and criminal records checks.
