Compulsive internet and video gaming is an increasingly challenging problem that affects all ages. This workshop will focus on developing successful strategies for assessment and treatment of compulsive internet use and video gaming, with an emphasis on risk factors and current research regarding technology use and the brain. Objectives include identifying risk factors for compulsive internet use and video gaming, understanding the current research on the impact of technology on the brain, and examining new therapeutic techniques for treatment.
